This is South African dance from yday’s #IYF Cultural Exhibition that happened in NYC! There were Korean, Jamaican, Indian dance, etc but probably this is one of the best. P.S: you should watch to see how energetic they were! (at Union Square , New York)

This is Indonesia photographed by the tourists who came and visited! I am extremely proud of my country as it has so many so manyyy, beautiful places and all the nature resources that other countries won’t have. I should probably live in Indonesia and enjoy the scenery, the tradition, the strong culture that are unique to the eyes of every caucasian.
Well, I have been moving from one country to another country since I was 11. Little did I know Indonesia is so admirable in the eyes of the foreigners and I did not even treasure what my home country inherits from the the dutch colony… Amazing cities like Yogyakarta and Manado were highly colonised by the Dutch and if we look at it from a positive point of view, these cities are the most visited ones in Indonesia. Why? Because of the natural resources and wonders! Not to forget, Bali is also a beautiful island with fascinating beaches. Everything is just magnificent!!!
I regret leaving Indonesia. Should have lived there longer and spent my teenage life in that splendid city of Jakarta. Fun and lively, for sure it would be! But there is no point crying over spilt milk… I should probably look at the bright side and believe, that God has planned all these (my life path). That doesn’t mean my life outside Indonesia was horrible. Living out of home country teaches us to be a better person and offers us a much more pleasing experience. I did also enjoy my teenage life in Singapore and London. It’s just another story to tell.
I am in New York at this very moment I’m writing this blog, I have travelled to the 4 (out of 5) continents in the past 3 years, visited their tourist attractions, paid for all the tours that I signed up. And now I’m thinking, why didn’t I tour Indonesia? why didn’t I invest my money in my own country’s tourism? Should have explored my home country first before exploring others. Because I’M INDONESIAN. Hahaha! It’s kinda funny when I have never wandered around Indonesia but have wandered around the world… I’m sure Indonesia has mountains and lakes and rivers and beaches that are just as breathtaking as those in Europe. I am proud to be Indonesia but perhaps will be more proud if I have visited all the places mentioned in the “25 Places That Will Make You Want To Visit Indonesia” (help yourself to click the link above).
New York, London, Scotland, Oxford, Seoul, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Grand Canyon (Arizona), Phoenix, San Francisco, LA, Germany, Paris, Italy and Switzerland are memorable to me. BUT Indonesia is still a magical place! IT IS WHERE MY HEART IS <3 <3 <3
